Strategic Land

Development Consultancy

John Arkwright & Co has provided strategic advice to a variety of landowners. This has included advising on a variety of land uses including, agricultural, commercial, horticultural and residential land uses.

This advice has involved assessing the viability of land for redevelopment, introducing and working with planning consultants, sourcing development partners and advising on maximising the realisation of the inherent redevelopment value.

We have acted on behalf of agricultural landowners, local community organisations, charitable trusts and private clients.

A large part of our business is the provision of consultancy advice. Some clients lack the resources to manage property developments or the marketing process or simply decide to concentrate on their own core business.

We have considerable experience and enjoy the challenge of maximising value through lateral and proactive thinking. This may involve marriage values or overage negotiations/advice, unscrambling of complex issues that inevitably arise with properties and the finding of appropriate solutions.

We are frequently asked to act as the “Clients’ representative” appointing the professional team, including other agents, building surveyors, architects and town planners.

Our highly personal approach means a single point of contact with the client, throughout the whole process from development of a strategy to completion of the process.
